• Act as Importer of Record
• Assure efficient importation of Canadian RV client products into Canada
• Obtain case by case importation letters from Transport Canada
• Compile manufacturers compliance documentation in approved government format
• Perform visual compliance inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance and limit recall exposure
• Review existing compliance documentation to assemble in the prescribed format
• Assist our clients with CMVSS interpretations of rules and regulations compliance
• Keep clients apprised of changes to the Act and Regulations
• Direct clients to recognized test facilities
• Recall assistance including the preparation of government required recall documentation
• Schedule 7 Services for the importation of non-compliant vehicles for testing evaluation and display purposes
• Acting as a liaison between Transport Canada and the Manufacturer
• Emergency release procedure for vehicles detained by CBSA

Canadian RV Importers Inc. also provides an importation service where Canadian RV Importers Inc. can act on behalf of a manufacturer as the "importer of record". Under this service Canadian RV Importers Inc. will assume responsibility for the importation requirements allowing members the ability to focus on other aspects of their business.
